On 11 th August 2016, the tiny tots of classes Nursery – II celebrated Independence Day with great fervor and enthusiasm. The Independence Day programme was presented by the students created an ambience of patriotism.
The children made an honest effort in reminding everyone about the freedom fighters who laid down their lives and contributed in the independence struggle.They also spoke about the significance of our national symbols - Indian Flag, Lotus, Tiger, Mango and Peacock.The students of choir group sang the patriotic song that coloured everybody in the colour of patriotism.
The kids became knowledgeable about the various things that our country gives us and also learnt the ways to take care of it. To put their words into action the kids ran a plantation drive under the leadership of the Principal and the Headmistress.
Indeed, it was a day of joy, a day to symbolize love and respect for our country and make it a better place for Indians to live and experience the freedom, peace and unity in diversity.
