The students of classes 3-5 of Delhi Public School
Jaipur enthusiastically participated in a
session on ‘Yoga and Meditation’ which was organized on Thursday, 12 April 2018
in the school. The aim of the activity was to introduce yoga and meditation to
the students as a way of life and share the benefits of yoga with the students
and the positive vibes it has on the mind and the body.
The Yoga instructor taught the students a series of
simple, yet effective yoga postures, breathing exercises and meditation
techniques that are beneficial for the well-being of the body, mind and soul.
All the exercises were age appropriate and the students thoroughly enjoyed the
exercises which were backed by stimulating music and visuals.
Headmistress Ms Anjali Massey appreciated the active
participation of students and motivated them to practice yoga and meditation on
a regular basis and benefit from this healthier way of life.
