Awareness about child safety is an integral part of school curriculum. To ensure safety, it is very important to make children aware of the safe and unsafe touch. Every child needs to know the difference
between the good touch and the bad touch and what they should do if they face abuse of any kind. In the month of April, a session was conducted regarding the safe zone and unsafe zone/danger zone on their bodies for classes Nursery to class II. Following this, a second session was organized at Delhi Public School, Jaipur on Friday, 29th June 2018 in which children were introduced to the activity called ‘People in my safe circle’. An interactive session was conducted by the school counsellor, Ms Evelyn Raghel Thomas through the medium of power point presentation, videos and later activity handout was given to the children which they did at home with the help of their parent. The purpose of this safe circle activity was to help the children identify people they can trust, feel safe and share their feelings to be included in their safe circle.
The activity "Heartfulness- The Art of Self- realization" was conducted today  for class X. The resource person was Ms Meghana Soti from world renowned NGO- The Art of living. She is a physics lecturer and now a full time yoga teacher. She started her session by giving introduction of yoga and its benefits. Then yoga, pranayam and meditation were done. She gave lot of stress on breathing correctly while doing the asanas. The students showed thorough discipline and actively participated in all activities. They enjoyed a lot and felt refreshed after the session. She was happy with the arrangements and praised the active and serious participation of the students. The activity went on smoothly.
