The students of Primary Classes III to V celebrated the Joy of Giving with a medley of educational and fun activities. The celebrations began a week prior with a Special Assembly. Students were shown videos on acts of kindness and they were sensitized on the importance of seeking happiness by spreading joy of giving. A Stationery Donation Drive for the Shiksha Kendra students was also
organized across Grades 3 to 5 with the sole purpose of instilling in our children compassion and a strong charitable spirit. The celebration culminated with an Inter-Class “Pin Board Decoration”
competition on 25 April 2019 where students across all sections displayed their innate creative abilities and talents to showcase and support the cause and also to build awareness that each one of us has the power to make a difference.

Sensitizing the children about various issues and about Good Touch & Bad Touch, makes them emotionally strong and helps them to grow normally. It helps them handle “not so positive events” in life in a better way so that they do not impact their growth and personality.
For creating awareness amongst the students and equip them against all odds, a session on Good Touch and Bad Touch was conducted for Grades III-V on Thursday ,11th of April 2019 at Delhi Public School, Jaipur. With the prime objective of child safety , the interactive session was initiated by explaining the students the difference between safe, confused and unsafe touch and telling them that their body belongs to them and they have all the right to protect it.
The session was conducted by the school counsellor –Ms. Shivangi Saxena which included a PowerPoint presentation along with related pictures and videos that enlightened the children about this sensitive issue. Most importantly they were told how to handle such odd situations, whom to report and that it is not their fault if at all it happens with them. The session was concluded with a worksheet that the students attempted in the class which depicted what they grasped from the session.

A workshop on Interpersonal skills for teachers was organised on April 1, 2019 at DPS Jaipur. The resource person Ms. Ritu Parna G Vats  professor HR and OB & Head Career Centre took a session on ‘How to improve our Inter personal skills’. Various activities were conducted which focused on the three main goals to interaction i.e. gaining our objective, maintaining our relationship and keeping our self respect. It was overall an enriching experience.
