The Math Department of Delhi Public School, Jaipur organized an activity Number Maze (play with numbers) on 31 January 2019. The students of Class IV wholeheartedly participated in this number game. It was an opportunity for them to display their skills in calculation and critical thinking. Apart from helping them to improve their mathematical skills these games also have the power to improve their focus and lengthen their attention spans.
    Scrabble Time organised for Class III on 31 January 2019 demonstrated to them that playing with words is lots of fun. Tasks like unscrambling the adjectives and writing nouns for them, solving the riddles while playing Passing the Parcel grabbed their attention instantly. While playing a mind involving game they subconsciously learned concepts like noun and adjective.
      On January 29, 2019, Citation ceremony was organised for the students of class 11 Humanities. The event was blessed by the presence of Principal Ms. Sangeeta Kain.
        To create awareness regarding the types of bullying and its prevention, a session on anti-bullying was organized for the students of grade III to V at Delhi Public School, Jaipur on 18 Jan 2019.
        The school counselor, Ms. Shivangi Saxena conducted an interactive session through the medium of power point presentation and videos.
        She explained about the types of bullying and the ways to prevent bullying by being a responsible friend in school.
          On Thursday, 17 th January 2019, DPS Jaipur organized two activities simultaneously for the students of Classes III-V. The activities were- Dexterous Artists for Classes III - IV and PowerPoint Presentation for Class V on the topic ’Republic Day’.
          The Art activity was unlike the contemporary activities that are being organized in the school. In this activity , Class III students were taught about one of the most renowned Indian artists -Jamini Roy. They were given cut outs of animals and birds which they decorated by painting them.
          Likewise Class IV students were taught about Western artist Pablo Piccaso. They were given different shapes to be utilized in creating a portrait in Piccaso style.
          The activity for the Class V students was organized in two levels. The first level involved solving a worksheet in the classroom which was based on MS PowerPoint and the second level was to create a PowerPoint Presentation on the computer on the topic ‘Republic Day’.
            To guide the young minds in the right direction, Computer Security Expert, Mr. Rakshit Tandon conducted the sessions with the students from classes  VI to IX and XI and XII at Delhi Public School, Jaipur. He is a prominent public speaker on computer and cyber security and has conducted many workshops, conferences and training sessions. He has undertaken the herculean task of travelling the nation and has spoken to more than 2.6 million students of various schools and colleges.
            Mr. Tandon shared his expertise by making the students aware of their rights as well as duties when entering the virtual world. He also mentioned the common problems people face online and the extent to which crimes can be committed. He mentioned that social media and gaming is making children isolated. He laid emphasis on being disciplined.
