·  In the prestigious International Education Icon Awards-2019 the award of 'Dynamic Teacher of The Year' was presented to Jimmy Thomas from Jaipur.

·  The award was conferred to him in a grand ceremony held at New Delhi on August 24, 2019 by the Honorable Ambassador of Argentina, Mr. Daniel Chuburu for the exemplary role in teaching and propagating Music to enhance learning and building harmonious relationships amongst the students of the world through Music.

·   Mr. Jimmy Thomas is active in the field of Music since last 23 years and is presently working in Delhi Public School, Jaipur. 

    · This mega event was hosted by Delhi Public School Jaipur under the aegis of the DPS Society. It was a two day event- 29-30 August.

    · After the inaugural ceremony on the first day, the second day was marked by the Semi Final Matches and the Final Matches in both Singles and Doubles category.

    ·  Proving their excellence across all the participants the Singles Gold was won by Vijetha Harish of DPS, Bangalore South and the Doubles Gold was bagged by Anmol Kharb and Riddhima  Raturi a team from DPS, Faridabad.

    ·  Ms. Alka Batra, the National Badminton player, the Vice President of Jaipur Badminton Association and the recipient of Rajasthan State Masters Badminton Championship was the Chief Guest for the day .

    ·  The benign presence of Dr. D.R. Saini , the renowned Educationist , the Director of the  DPS Society and  the recipient of the prestigious  National Award for Teachers graced the  occasion.

    ·  Dr. Saini addressed the gathering and emphasized on the necessity of games and sports as an integral part of a student’s life. 

      The Annual Inter -DPS Dance Festival - ' Nrityanjali -2019 ' was hosted by DPS, Jaipur under the aegis of The DPS Society.

      The theme for the competition was “Mohan Se Mahatma”Ode to 150 years of Mahatma Gandhi or “Sushakti (Sanskrit/Hindi) Empowered women of History/Mythology.

      Twenty teams from the West Zone participated in the competition.

      The Chief Guest for the occasion was the Director of DPS, Jaipur Mr. K.B. Kain.

      The competition commenced with the lighting of the auspicious lamp.

      The Judges for the competition were Dr. Jyoti Bharti Goswami, an international and a disciple of the eminent kathakacharya Pt.Girdhari Maharaj of Jaipur Gharana. She is a proud recipient of many prestigious awards.

      Shrimati Manjiri Kiran Mahajani has been trained by the internationally renowned kathak guru Late Smt. Rohini Bhate at Nritiya Bharti, Pune. She has been awarded her senior research fellowship and National scholarship in the field of kathak .

      Ms. Nikita Mudgal is a professional Bharatnatyam teacher working with Maharani Gayatri Devi School, Jaipur.

         Four day mega event - XIV C.L. Jaipuria Memorial Tournament 2019- organized on August 20-23, 2019.

        108 teams and 1670 students from 35 educational institutions participated in this tournament.

         The sports included in this tournament were Football, Volleyball, Handball and Badminton in both boys and girls category.

         The Overall Championship Trophy 2019 has been bagged by Delhi Public School Jaipur scoring total 44 points.

           Inter house Robot Model Making Competition was organized for Grades IX & X.

           Students conducted a detailed research on robots that are currently being used in military by countries like Russia and US.

           Followed by which they prepared presentations on the kinds of robots and their functions.

          After research students prepared presentations and designed a surveillance robot to aid military in its defense efforts 

          which they presented to their classmates and judges

              The Inter-house Power Point Presentation competition was conducted for Grade XI and XII.

             Since the topic was “School Life”, the participants endeavored towards capturing and presenting their version of “School Life” in a beautiful PPT.

             They were judged on the basis of Use of technology, creativity, theme development and team presentation.

             The competition was a means to stage both the communication skills and presentation skills of the participants.

              Poetry came alive at the Hansi ke Bulbule: Poetic Summit organised for Class V in the Conference Hall. It was an Inter- Class poetry recitation competition. Each class had two groups. The energy of the participants made the audience sit up and enjoy a good laugh as the theme of the poems was humour. The students displayed perfect coordination and  voice modulation as they aligned these to the rhythm in the poetry. Their gestures and facial expressions instantly connected them to the audience. An additional bonus of this activity was that the participants gained confidence in public speaking skills.

                Computers provide new ways to think about things and explore learning by doing.
                Computers have revolutionized the way children learn and access to computers has become a basic need in the education world. At DPS Jaipur, the students use Information Technology so that learning becomes an  enjoyable and creative experience.
                A computer based activity 'Magazine Front: Microsoft Word' was organised for the students of Class IV. The students were first briefed about various global organisations associated with charity such as CARE, Oxfam, Save the Children, UNESCO, UNICEF and WHO. After a discussion with their classmates they were given the task to design a Word Cover Page on any one of the organisations using their creativity and technical knowledge. This activity gave them the confidence to expand their knowledge and filled them with a sense of empowerment as they created something of their own.

                  Class III: Trailblazers: Math in Our Surroundings

                  At DPS Jaipur, we have the right approach in teaching Math by ensuring that students know how Math applies to everyday life. Students understand that there is a purpose in what they are learning. 
                  To encourage the Class III students to see the numbers all around them, Math activity 'Trailblazers: Math in Our Surroundings' was organised. The students learnt Math beyond the four walls of the classroom as they explored the School Cafe- 'Tuck inn' and the 'Snakes and Ladders' with a new perspective. They were filled with excitement and enthusiasm as they went around these areas counting and measuring and filling up the given worksheet. 
                  This activity was an endeavour to raise a next generation that thinks 'Math is cool!'

                    Success is the sum of small efforts, repeated day in and day out.

                    The Stem exhibition organized on 17 Aug’2019 for students of III to X, focused on ingraining a scientific and a creative attitude in our young students to make them comprehend the interdependence of science and technology by hands on experience.

                    Teachers encourage minds to think and hands to create. Numerous mathematical fantasies were displayed such as geo robot, pentagon city, Pythagoras theorem, division algorithm, warli painting badges and diverse range of board games.

                    One of the most talked about technologies today is IOT. We’re headed to a world where doors unlock automatically sensing us around. Stem Projects this year focused on IOT, the rapidly growing technology. We witnessed a variety of projects ranging from Smart Home to smart dustbin to high tech security, LED Stumps and what not. Brightlands Girls School was also a part of the exhibition and put up two innovative models. Apart from IOT Based projects We displayed a variety of Arduino based innovative models.

                    The exhibition sought to engage students and teachers to synergize experiences and design something novel. It showcased learning beyond text books. The participants were ranging from classes III to X. The exhibition gave the students right exposure and confidence. It provided a platform for the students to exhibit their talent and come out with their innovative ideas.

                    The exhibition was inaugurated by chief guest Dr. Jagdev Singh Rathore and Mr. Yogesh Bhatnagar, our esteemed Principal Sangeeta Kain ma’am, Head Master Mr. Ravi Dutt, Head Mistress Ms. Aradhana Kaul and was witnessed by all the teachers and parents.

                    The Principal, Ma’am Sangeeta Kain encouraged the students and appreciated them.

                    The exhibition promoted the concept of research, development and creativity.

                      With the hoisting of the Tricolour and the National Anthem, began the celebration of the 73rd Independence Day at Delhi Public School, Jaipur.

                      The Director Mr. K.B. Kain and the Principal Ms. Sangeeta Kain graced the occasion with their benign presence.

                      The entire school reverberated with the rhythmic beats of the school band that added to the euphoria.

                      The stimulating speech by the Director Mr. K.B. Kain roused the feelings of patriotism amongst all, urging to hold fast to the strong value system which we are privileged to have inherited.

                      The Scholar- Badge ceremony added to the grace of the occasion, when the meritorious students of classes X and XII were awarded. 

                        The students of DPS jaipur bagged the Winning Trophy and a cash prize of Rs. 5000/- in the Inter-State Music competition- ‘Gaaye Ja Bharat’ organised by 

                        All India Radio ,Jaipur.

                           An Inter – House Debate Competition was organized for the students of Grades IX to XII.

                           Twelve participants representing six houses debated on the topic ‘Exams only measure the memory of the students and not learning’.

                           Participants proficiently answered the questions asked by the interjectors.

                           Being a relatable topic, participants gave a tough time to each other conveying their opinions across.

                           Chenab House emerged as the winner, Satluj House securing the second position and Yamuna House bagged the third position.

Students then presented their models to their judges and students from Shiksha Kendra. We witnessed a variety of projects from smart dust bin to smart homes to high tech security.

                              A talk show on “Organ Donation” was conducted on August 1, 2019 for grades 3 to 5.
                              Young minds are like sponges and they are looking for the right input to soak it in. Our eminent speaker Dr. Mandira Gupta MBBS MD provided a right platform for many inquisitive minds.
                              Dr. Mandira Gupta related the talk with the Tree of Life who keeps on passing the sweet fruit to many generations. Connections were made across nature by showing videos on the topic. Each and everyone has the ability to change someone’s life by bringing a hue of colours in their lives. Our guest speaker spoke on The Gift of Life where many people can be gifted new lives by donating blood to those in need. She fully addressed the myths and misunderstandings regarding organ and tissue donation.
                              Headmistress Ms. Aradhana Kaul encouraged students to share the knowledge they gained with family, friends and other relatives.
